Do you feel uninspired in your current role?
Do you want to leave / transition out of academia, but aren’t sure where to start?
Do you want to improve your confidence in the workplace?
Do you every have a sense of imposter syndrome – that feeling that you don’t fully belong?
Are you at a crossroads in your life and don’t know which way to turn?
Do you feel stuck?
I am a Coaching Professional with several years experience working in academia and also of transitioning from academia to work in other sectors. I am in the process of completing my Diploma in Transformational Coaching.
Who might benefit from coaching?
Doctoral students, academics at any career stage, those looking to leave academia, transition to another career or make a big life change.
I’m not sure if coaching is for me?
This is no problem. Often people initially come to me without a specific idea of what the issue is, but they generally feel stuck. I can help you get unstuck and put a plan of action together.
What are your fees?
Please contact me for more information on the packages I offer. We can use the ‘discovery call’ to first work out what you would like coaching on and then a package based on the action plan.
Mentoring
Bespoke qualitative research methods mentoring and consultancy
I can advise on research design and all stages of the research process in qualitative projects. I can also provide more specific guidance and coaching in relation to qualitative skills that you might want to strengthen (i.e. interviewing, ethnography, autoethnography, narratives and storytelling, qualitative data analysis techniques, writing up, and disseminating work to a wide range of audiences).
Academic skills mentoring
I run one-on-one and group mentoring sessions and guidance on aspects such as: how to successfully complete your PhD, writing for academic journals, writing and submitting a book proposal, presenting at academic conferences and events, and more.
What next? How do I find out more? Book a ‘discovery call’
Please contact me to discuss your requirements. Book in with me to have a ‘discovery call’ at a time which works for you. This is an informal no obligation chat about what you might like help with, how I can help and work with you, and also how we would model the sessions to support you if you decide to go ahead. If you are unsure exactly what you’d like to work on then don’t worry, we can work this out together in the initial call.
If you are working in a research team or closely with other doctoral students you might want to book group sessions for coaching or mentoring to keep costs lower and benefit from the experience of group coaching.
